Home200723.09. - Teachers/volunteers

After Ms. Johanna left, we have Ms. Sophie, our 3rd volunteer. She is doing a great job. Our girls have accepted her as if they knew her for ages. She is only 18 years of age but wise. Ms. Sophie is planning to stay more than she planned before and now probably staying with us for 5 months working with us volunteer and volunteer assistance to the Trust. Ms. Sophie’s report will explain a lot from out and about Sambhali Trust.

We have Miss Tamanah Borana, who is now appointed as a permanent teacher of art and craft with 3 lessons per week. Monday - Wednesday from 11.00 am till 1.00 pm. She teaches everything from embroidery to toy making, from tye and dye to block printing.
I am looking for a lady Hindi teacher to teach some Hindi writing for the participants not going to school, toy making and to learn some more work from art and craft. I am planning on starting a sewing program also. Most of our participants are gone to Pilgrimage. The Trust will be full of participants when all of them are back from the pilgrimage walk on the 22nd of this month. I will be arranging a vehicle for transport for the participants to and from the workshop. I am also in go to work with the street kids, I am in search for them and starting a mid day meal, need to consult with the Madam - Rashmi, also a nutritionist from profession.

Mr. Paul from Sambhali International (USA) Incorporated visited us for a few days. It was good. A few things would have been sorted for the Trust if Mr. Paul felt a little better with health. Rest is fine with the NGO and we look forward to next visit of Mr. Paul next month most probably.
