Bharati, daughter of Mr. Veera Ram Gharu
My Mother left me in the lap of my grandmother when I was a little baby. She never returned and my father, a rickshaw driver, got married again. My mother didn’t even come to check if I was alive and instead she has also started her own life with some other man. I have not seen my mother since she left me. I want to go to school but I am scared of teachers beating me. If I start school now after so much time away, I know I will take it very seriously. I have been coming to the sewing class at Sambhali Trust for a while now. It is where I take refuge from looking after goats, cleaning, and taking care of stepbrothers and sisters.
