Nikhil and Ajay Gharu, sons of Pinky and Papu Gharu
Our father left us home for a 13 year old girl friend, he left us and our mother with our grand parents. With time our father’s parents (our grand parents) changed and started treating us very badly, our mother was beaten up every day and we were also not allowed to use the kitchen or the toilet. Our mother went to her mother for help everyday, our mother’s mother took us to her home, now we live here. Our mother’s father is a disabled person and one of my aunts is disabled. We have our grand ma, mother’s mother, who is bringing in money for all of us, but now she is old and she cannot help us go to school. We are happy that for two years we are in school because of Sambhali Trust. The Trust is also helping our mother get legal aid to fight our father. Our father is now married to this girl friend and has a son from her, they have come to live with our grand parents, father’s parents, and now they all like the new woman and they want to kick our mother out of there. Thanks Sambhali for helping us with school and for being there for our mother.
